Expression of Interest - Project Officer
Gabalidi Garngoo Association Inc (previously known as Kuranya Family Association Inc) is a
non-for-profit Association, governed by its committee. The committee manages the
Associations everyday administration and operations including Aboriginal Homelands
located at Pobke Road Coomunga (Big Swamp).
The Project Officer will be responsible for driving and delivering every project on time and
within an agreed budget. You will be required to plan projects, apply for funding, and
manage a team to undertake tasks. The Project Officer background will have project
delivery, progress and milestone reporting, business skills, management, budgeting, and
analysis. This role will be reporting directly to the governing committee.
This role can either be casual, part time or contracted work based in Port Lincoln and
surrounding areas of Lower Eyre Peninsula with travel requirements. All you need is a strong
communication skill along with excellent presentation and ambition to strengthen
communities and the willingness to facilitate community leadership and reform change.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- project planning, scoping, project delivery
- budgeting, and analysis
- meeting specifications
- stakeholder/services engagement
- team management
- grant writing and reporting
